தங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் படிப்பு முடித்ததும் நல்ல அரசுப் பணிகளில் சேர்ந்து வாழ்வில் செட்டில் ஆகவேண்டும் என்பது ஏறக்குறைய அனைத்து பெற்றோரின் கனவாக இருக்கும். மாணவர்களும் தாங்கள் படிப்பு முடித்து அரசு பணிகளில் சேர்ந்து சேவைகள் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்ற ஆசையைக் கொண்டிருப்பார்கள். ஆனால், எப்படி அரசு பணிகளில் சேருவது…ஏராளமான தேர்வுகள் இருப்பதாக கூறுகிறார்கள், ஆனால் எந்தத் தேர்வை எழுதினால் எந்த மாதிரியான பணிவாய்ப்புகளைப் பெறலாம் என்பது தான் மாணவர்களுக்கு பெரிய கேள்விக்குறியாக உள்ளது. எந்தெந்த தேர்வுகளை எப்படி எழுத வேண்டும், என்னென்ன வாய்ப்புகள் உள்ளன என்பதை இங்கே காணலாம்.

சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வுகள்

இந்திய ஆட்சிப் பணி (ஐ.ஏ.எஸ்), இந்திய காவல் பணி (ஐ.பி.எஸ்), இந்திய வனத் துறை பணி (ஐ.எஃப்.எஸ்) உள்பட, கணக்குத் தணிக்கை, வருவாய்த் துறை, வரித் துறை உள்பட நாட்டின் முக்கியத் துறைகளில் உயரிய பதவிகளில் அமர்வதற்கு, சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வுகள் எழுத வேண்டும்.

யாரெல்லாம் எழுதலாம்?

சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வுகளை எழுத ஏதாவது பட்டப் படிப்பைப் படித்திருக்க வேண்டும். பட்டப் படிப்பின் இறுதியாண்டுத் தேர்வை எழுதிய மாணவர்களும் முதல்நிலைத் தேர்வு எழுத விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம். அதேசமயம், ஜூலை அல்லது ஆகஸ்ட் மாதங்களில் நடைபெறும் மெயின் தேர்வுகளை எழுதுவதற்கு முன்னதாக பட்டப்படிப்பில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்ற சான்றிதழ்களை வைத்திருக்க வேண்டும்.

சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வில் மூன்று கட்டங்கள் உள்ளன. முதல்நிலைத் தேர்வு, மெயின் தேர்வு, நேர்முகத் தேர்வு ஆகிய இந்த மூன்று நிலைகளிலும் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றவர்கள் மட்டுமே சிவில் சர்வீஸ் பணிகளில் சேர முடியும். இவற்றில் ஒரு தேர்வில் தோல்வியடைந்தாலும், மீண்டும் முதலில் இருந்து தேர்வுகளை எழுத வேண்டியிருக்கும்.

மெயின் தேர்வுகளில் தேர்ச்சி செய்யப்படும் மாணவர்கள், நேர்முகத் தேர்வுக்கு அழைக்கப்படுவார்கள். அதிலிருந்து தேர்வு செய்யப்படுபவர்கள் அவர்களது ரேங்க் அடிப்படையில் உரிய பணிகளில் அமர்த்தப்படுவார்கள்.

இத்தேர்வு எழுத விரும்பும் மாணவர்களுக்கு 21 வயது ஆகி இருக்க வேண்டும். 30 வயதுக்கு மேல் ஆகி இருக்கக்கூடாது. தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட, பழங்குடியின மாணவர்களுக்கு வயது வரம்பில் ஐந்து ஆண்டுகள் விலக்கு உண்டு. ஓபிசி பிரிவு மாணவர்களுக்கு வயது வரம்பில் மூன்று ஆண்டுகள் விலக்கு உண்டு. இதேபோல பார்வையற்றோர், காதுகேளாதோர், உடல் ஊனமுற்றோர், முன்னாள் ராணுவத்தினர் போன்றவர்களுக்கும் வயது வரம்பில் சலுகை உண்டு. பொதுப்பிரிவு மாணவர்கள் நான்கு முறை இத்தேர்வு எழுத அனுமதிக்கப்படுவார்கள். ஓ.பி.சி. பிரிவைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்கள் அதிகபட்சம் ஏழு முறை தேர்வு எழுத அனுமதிக்கப்படுவார்கள். தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட, பழங்குடியின மாணவர்களுக்கு இந்த வரம்பு எதுவும் இல்லை.

சிவில் சர்வீஸ் போன்ற போட்டித் தேர்வுகளை எழுத விரும்பும் மாணவர்கள் கல்லூரிகளில் படிக்கின்ற காலத்திலேயே அதற்கான ஆயத்தப் பணிகளில் இறங்கிவிட வேண்டும். ஆங்கில அறிவு, கணித அறிவு, பொது அறிவு ஆகியவை முக்கியம். அறிவியல், வரலாறு, புவியியல், கணிதம், இயற்பியல் போன்ற பல்வேறு துறைகளில் சில அடிப்படைகளைத் தெரிந்து வைத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். தவறாமல் செய்தித்தாள்களை வாசிக்கும் பழக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்திக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். நாட்டில் நடக்கும் முக்கிய நிகழ்வுகள், பெயர்களை தனியே நோட்டில் குறித்து வைத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். பொது அறிவுக்கென வரும் இதழ்களை வாங்கிப் படிக்க வேண்டும். போட்டித் தேர்வுகளில் கேட்கப்பட்ட கேள்விகளைப் பார்த்து அதற்கு பதில் அளித்துப் பழகிக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். இயர் புக், என்சிஆர்டி புத்தகங்கள் போன்றவை சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வு எழுதும் மாணவர்களுக்கு மிகவும் பயனுள்ளதாக இருக்கும். ஆங்கில அறிவை வளர்த்துக் கொள்வதிலும் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும். தற்போது சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வுகளுக்கு மாணவர்களைத் தயார்படுத்த பல்வேறு பயிற்சி நிலையங்கள் உள்ளன அங்கு சேர்ந்தும் பயிற்சி பெறலாம்.

 மத்திய அரசின் பொருளாதாரத் துறை உயர் பணிகளுக்கு இந்தியப் பொருளதாரப் பணி (இந்தியன் எகனாமிக் சர்வீஸ்) தேர்வு நடத்தப்படுகிறது. இந்தத் தேர்வை மத்திய அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் நடத்துகிறது. இந்தத் தேர்வில் தேர்ச்சி பெறுவோர் பொருளாதாரத் துறை உயர் அதிகாரிகளாக நியமனம் செய்யப்படுகிறார்கள். எகனாமிக்ஸ், பிசினஸ் எகனாமிக்ஸ், எகனாமெட்ரிக்ஸ் ஆகியவற்றில் ஏதேனும் ஒரு பட்டப் படிப்பில் முதுநிலைப் பட்டம் பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும். ஆதலால், பொருளாதாரத்தில் ஆர்வமிருப்பவர்கள், ப்ளஸ் 2 முடித்ததும் பொருளாதார இளங்கலை படிப்பை எடுத்தால் நலம்.

மத்திய அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் நடத்தும் மற்றொரு முக்கியத் தேர்வு ஐ.எஸ்.எஸ். என்று அழைக்கப்படும் இந்தியப்புள்ளியில் பணித் தேர்வு (இந்தியன் ஸ்டாட்டிஸ்டிக்கல் சர்வீஸ்)..மத்திய அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் இத்தேர்வை நடத்துகிறது. புள்ளியியல், கணிதப் புள்ளியியல், பயன்பாட்டுப் புள்ளியியல். ஆகியவற்றில் முதுநிலைப் பட்டம் பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும். முதுநிலைப் பட்ட வகுப்பில் இறுதியாண்டு படிக்கும் மாணவர்களும் இதற்கு விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம். எழுத்துத் தேர்வில் தகுதி பெறுபவர்கள் நேர்முகத் தேர்வுக்கு அழைக்கப்படுவார்கள். சென்னை, மதுரை உள்பட நாட்டில் முக்கிய நகரங்களில் இத்தேர்வை எழுதலாம்.

Information : Bright Future for Blind, a non-profit NGO based in Chennai. This NGO gives scholarships for underprivileged students, including visually challenged students. Scholarship beneficiaries have to spend at least five to 10 hours a week with the visually challenged, reading to them their study materials. The aim is to help at least 100 visually disabled with regular scribes for assistance in their academics. The organisation has tied up with the National Association for the Blind, to identify the visually challenged.
